Simboti
(Rinos Mukuwurirwa)

If one were to express the mbira of Simboti with one word, it would be "traditional," as opposed to a contemporary pop style. His mbira is simple and sturdy and of masculine strength. The 24 keys are beautifully prepared like the alignment of teeth and the tuning is completely correct. The quality of each musical instrument is constant. He makes mbira with pride and his craftmanship makes no compromises. His mbira are sturdy and a true representation of traditional mbira.
