Simon Mashoko has been playing the dza vadzimu mbira for many years. Mr.Mashoko still makes mbira to this day but can now only beat one key a day. Mr.Mashoko is now 88 years old and gets help and cooperation from his family. He is no longer able to walk on his own. He lives with a wife and son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. |
